The accomplished neuroscientist is an Associate Professor at the Center
for Neural Science at New York University. She completed her
undergraduate studies in 1987 at the University of California, Berkeley
in human anatomy and physiology and studied Neuroscience at the graduate
level at The University of California, San Diego.After graduating from doctoral studies, she then went on to partake in a
fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health and her work
there, along with her research completed at the Suzuki laboratory, has
earned her prestigious recognition. She has been awarded both the Donald
B. Lindsley Prize from the Society for Neuroscience and the National
Academy of Sciences' Troland Research Award.
