With two trims the Limited 4WD and the Touring 2WD both with 2.7liter V6 and 183hp engine which can achieve about 17mpg-18mpg in the city and 20mpg on the highway with a 5speed manual andransmission gives the ridecomfortable engine.This vehicle is well planned out quality vehicle of a reputed company. The first generation of XL7 was an extension of the Grand Vitara and had a rear wheel dirve platform. Fuel economy is not much but the distances the driver can cover is a lot and adds to the advantage. A strong vehicle though but it is a bit heavier than the competitors like the RAV4 or CR-V of Honda. The only disadvantage is that a heavier vehicle needs more fuel for running.
