2012 New Cars

2012 New Cars

The signature moment of the 2012 New York Auto Show was the raucous rebirth of the Viper, occurring at high noon on the first of two press days before the show opened to the public on Friday, April 6.
While any new model with a 640-horsepower V10 engine is worth getting excited about, more important were the world debuts of the 2013 Nissan Malta and 2014 Chevy Impala — new versions of two sedans that combined for 440,000 cars sold in 2011.
Second-day highlights included the roll out of a significantly revamped Ram 1500 — boasting impressive suspension, transmission and interior changes — and the first look at a sleek new Toyota Avalon.
On the luxury front, Lexus unwrapped a replacement for the tired ES sedan and Lincoln showed a far more stylish new MKS sedan. It was a big show for sedans.
Most of the all-new and updated cars revealed at the 2012 New York Auto Show will be arriving at dealerships this year. So if you find something you like, go ahead and start making plans.
