Suzuki Battery
The Bergman Fuel-Cell Scooter is based on Suzuki’s city-friendly Bergman. It incorporates a light, compact, air-cooled fuel cell and a
hydrogen tank that’s positioned inside the frame. Electricity produced
by the fuel cell powers a motor for propulsion; the only emission is
water. Suzuki is working toward commercializing the Bergman Fuel-Cell
Scooter as a motorcycle with superior environmental performance. Suzuki
aims to make Eco-friendly fuel-cell scooters increasingly common in
Europe in line with the establishment of hydrogen filling stations and
other necessary infrastructure.”IE has dedicated nearly a decade to designing these fuel cell systems
which are based upon hydrogen energy. What makes this technology
attractive is that it’s based on a no-burn, opposed to typical
fossil-fuel burning vehicles that release high CO2 emissions: one of the
top atmospheric pollutants killing our forests. The hydrogen tank,
lithium-ion battery, fuel cell and motor work in tandem to ensure
low-fuel-consumption and extended battery life
